The Vision of Shoal Creek
This is why we exist.
Today it seems whether it is in church or corporate America everyone is developing a “mission statement.” Would you believe that this is not a new concept? In fact, we have discovered that Jesus Himself voiced the “mission statement” for His church almost 2,000 years ago. Since there is no improving perfection, our desire at SCBC is to carry out the mission Jesus left for us and we believe that it is “Mission Possible!”
“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’” (Matthew 28:18-20)
