Outreach

We exist for the glory of the King, Jesus, and for the joy of all peoples. From Genesis 12-Revelation 7 it is clear that our God is a missionary God. He desires and is due worship from all peoples. We hope and long for this day, but our hope is not in vain. God promised Abraham in Genesis 15 that he would accomplish this mission himself through the proclamation of his people. What a privilege to be an ambassador of the King for the sake of his kingdom among the earth. Will you join us?

In Acts 1:8 Jesus tells all of His followers, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Here at Shoal Creek we call this “Mission Possible,” carrying the gospel to the end of the earth.
 
Our desire is to have a ministry upon which the sun never sets. In other words, at any given moment of the day, we would like to be a part of ministry taking place in every time zone around the world. We will seek to accomplish this over the next 20 years by planting 60 churches around the globe and translating the Scriptures into 20 languages for people groups who do not have copies of God’s Word in their language.

Mission Possible 1: Reaching the community for Christ, touching every home within a 10 mile radius of our church, servant evangelism, and community events such as, The Great Eggsit (Saturday before Easter Sunday), Vacation Bible School (during the Summer), Light the Night with Jesus (October 31), and much more.

Mission Possible 2: We partner with church planters nationally to assist them in reaching their communities.

Mission Possible 3: We work with missionaries globally to plant churches among unreached people groups.
