Known. Loved. Included.

We believe every person is created by God, deeply valued, and worthy of a place where they are known, loved, and included.

Through our Special Needs Ministries & opportunities, we want individuals with special needs and their families to experience meaningful relationships, accessible opportunities to grow in their faith, and a church family that is genuinely glad they’re here.

There’s a place for you at the Creek.

Church is for Everyone.

LIGHT Ministry exists to help individuals with special needs and their families fully participate in the life of the Creek. Through caring volunteers, intentional environments, and individualized support, we want every person who walks through our doors to have opportunities to worship, learn, build friendships, and know they belong.

LIGHT Ministry is available during our 9:30 AM Sunday worship service and on Wednesday nights, providing support and connection for individuals with special needs while helping their families engage in the life of our church.

Your First Visit

We know every individual is different, and knowing what to expect can make a new environment a little easier. Before your first visit, we'd love to learn more about you or your family member and how we can best welcome and support you.

More than 10 years of friendship, fun, & belonging.

For more than a decade, Camp Amigos has created a place where our special needs friends can come together for a day designed with them in mind.

Camp Amigos is filled with fun activities, new experiences, familiar faces, and plenty of opportunities to build friendships—all in an environment where each Amigo is welcomed, known, and celebrated.

But Camp Amigos is about more than one great day. For more than 10 years, generations of volunteers have stepped in to love and serve individuals with special needs and their families, building a legacy of belonging that continues today.

Awesomely Made in God's own Spirit.

Two Ministries. One Heart.

Creating places where individuals with special needs and their families are known, loved, and connected to the life of the Creek.

Check out the drop-down menu below to learn more about the small differences between these ministries.
What's the difference between LIGHT & Camp Amigos?
The LIGHT Ministry is an ongoing Special Needs ministry that occurs each Sunday & Wednesday. Camp Amigos is a special event that happens 3 times throughout the year.
What is the sole purpose of each ministry?
Both ministries desire to provide a safe and sensory-friendly environment for children & teens with special needs. LIGHT Ministry specifically desires to help provide the parents of special needs children the worry-free opportunity to worship and serve in a local church, while Camp Amigos is an incredible opportunity to build community and have fun together.
How does this help my family?
If you, or someone you know, has a child, teen, or young adult with special needs, and are looking for a safe & sensory friendly place to grow and connect with other believers - either of these programs would be a great fit. While LIGHT provides ongoing support (each Sunday & Wednesday), Camp Amigos has fostered an incredible sense of community within the Special Needs families in our area, and serves as one of our outreach programs to families with special needs children.
I want to help. How can I get involved?
There are plenty of ways to serve in both ministries -- whether or not you have any experience working with special needs children.

For LIGHT Ministry, we can always use more hands during our Sunday or Wednesday hours, and Camp Amigos takes a lot of hands each time to ensure that each child has a buddy, and each activity has enough hands to make sure it runs smoothly.
