Frequently Asked Questions:
Where can I find my music?
Physical music is provided at rehearsal. Each singer is assigned a numbered folder, so you can make notes in your music and use the same folder each time you return.
Downloadable PDFs are linked below if you'd like to look over it at home!

Can I take my folder home?
Folders stay at Shoal Creek between rehearsals so your music is always organized and waiting for you when you arrive.
If you want your own music at home, there are downloadable files below that you can download and print.

Which listening track should I use?
Start with your individual voice-part (i.e. Soprano predominant) to learn your notes. Once you're comfortable with your part, practice with the full-choir track to hear how your part fits into the complete arrangement.
Do I need to memorize the music?
You will be able to hold and refer to your music during all performances. However, we will work together to make sure you're not staring at your music the entire time!
How much should I practice in between rehearsals?
You don't have to spend hours practicing. Consistent practice - even 10-15 minutes at a time - makes an enormous difference when we come back together.
What if I have to miss one of the rehearsals?
Life happens and schedules get busy. If you have to miss, use the resources on this page to stay caught up before our next rehearsal. As we get closer to a performance, some rehearsals may be especially important to attend.
Can I still come if I haven't practiced the music yet?
Of course! Don't let that keep you from coming. Rehearse with us, then use the resources here to catch up.
